Privacy & cookies.

A concise account of what this website does, what it does not do, and the limited technical information involved in delivering it.

Effective 19 August 2026

Privacy

This notice applies to the public VAN/VISSCHER corporate website. VAN/VISSCHER PRIVATE HOLDING, Intl. is responsible for the information presented here. Separate companies, linked websites and third-party services may operate under their own privacy notices.

Information you provide

The public website currently provides no general account registration, newsletter subscription or contact form. Accordingly, it does not ask visitors to submit names, email addresses or marketing preferences through those facilities.

Technical information

Like most websites, the hosting and delivery infrastructure may process ordinary request data needed to return a page and maintain security. This can include an IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, timestamps and diagnostic or security events. Such information is used only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website, comply with applicable obligations, and protect legal rights.

Protected sign-in

If a visitor actively selects the sign-in control on the protected member page, the browser is asked for location permission as a security check. Permission is controlled by the visitor and their browser. In the current website implementation, the resulting location is not transmitted to VAN/VISSCHER or retained by this website; the check is handled in the browser and access is denied.

External resources and links

Typography is delivered using Google Fonts. Loading a page therefore causes the browser to request font files and stylesheets from Google, which necessarily exposes technical request information such as the visitor’s IP address and browser headers to that provider. Links to other websites likewise become subject to the privacy practices of their operators once followed.

Disclosure and retention

VAN/VISSCHER does not sell public-site visitor data. Technical information may be handled by infrastructure providers acting to deliver or protect the website, or disclosed where required by law. Any retained technical records should be kept only for as long as reasonably required for their operational, security or legal purpose, subject to provider settings and applicable requirements.

Cookies

This website does not currently set analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. There are therefore no optional cookie categories for a visitor to accept or reject.

The acknowledgment banner uses one item in the browser’s localStorage named vv-privacy-notice-acknowledged. Its value is simply 1 and its sole purpose is to prevent the same notice from appearing on every visit. It is functional browser storage, not a cookie, and is not used to identify or track visitors. It can be removed at any time by clearing this site’s stored data in the browser.

Your choices

Visitors can block local storage, clear the acknowledgment value, decline browser geolocation permission, or prevent externally hosted fonts through browser or network settings. Some choices may affect presentation or protected features, but not access to the public legal information on this page.

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, individuals may have rights concerning personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or a right to complain to a relevant supervisory authority. A request can be made through a published VAN/VISSCHER corporate contact channel. Identity and scope may need to be verified before a request is acted upon.

Changes

This notice may be revised when the website, its providers or applicable requirements change. Material revisions will be reflected on this page by updating the effective date. This page describes the website as currently implemented and does not replace any notice supplied for a separate service or direct relationship.
